Loss Prevention Officer
Goodwill Industries is looking for an entry level Loss Prevention Officer. The Loss Prevention Officer (LPO) is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by external theft and fraud. The right applicant will monitor the stores' physical security. Identify incidents of theft and fraud. Preparing accurate and detailed case reports. Documenting apprehensions and recoveries. Preserving evidence and interact with law enforcement. Carrying out job responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to themselves, other associates, vendors, customers and the Company. The LPO must demonstrate integrity at all times. Must possess mental ability to use independent judgment, make quick decisions under pressure, and effectively manage confrontations. Must have knowledge of state civil shoplifting laws.
Must pass a drug screening test, a criminal background check, having no felony and/or property crime convictions, and be at least 18 years old.
Be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
Compensation: $10.50-$11.50 plus benefits
