Position:
Attended Donation Site Attendant
SUMMARY
Accepts donations at the collection site according to established procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Reports for scheduled work regularly and on time. Notifies supervisor as soon as possible regarding the need and expected duration of any absence.
Greets and assists donors at site.
Accepts or rejects donations according to established procedures.
Issues tax receipts and other pamphlets to donors.
Sorts, stacks and organizes donations according to established procedures.
Maintains site according to established standards. Keeps work area clean and orderly.
Works to meet asigned productivity goals.
Follows all policies, procedures, and work rules.
Uses safe lifting techniques and follows all safety standards.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
No prior experience or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable works and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
