Goodwill Industries rated at an all time high
Smart Money
In the November 2000 issue of Smart Money magazine, Goodwill Industries International was listed as No. 3 in Human Services. In 2001 Goodwill was listed No. 5 in Human Services, and No. 20 overall.
 NonProfit Times
In November 2005 the NonProfit Times includes Goodwill Industries International in the release of the NPT 100, the oldest ranking of the nation's largest nonprofits. Goodwill was ranked No. 6 in the nation.
 The Chronicle of Philanthropy
Released in October 1997, The Chronicle of Philanthropy's Philantrophy 400 ranked Goodwill Industries 38th, moving up Goodwill's standing up from the 42nd position in 1996. Goodwill ranked 8th in the Human Services Group. Goodwill's primary source of revenue for programs and services comes from donations that are sold in its retail stores.
 Christian Science Monitor
In the Christian Science Monitor's "Work and Money" section, December 15, 1997, Goodwill Industries ranked 5th in "The 50 largest charities ranked by Total Income."
