Goodwill Industries has moved further into e-commerce by registering with two philanthropic online shopping malls: iGive.com and GreaterGood.com.

Surfers may enter either online mall, designate a charity (In this case, Goodwill), then shop to their heart's content at such notable stores as Barnes & Noble, e-Toys, Pets.com, and Amazon.com. Each purchase results in donations to the designated charity.

iGive
To get credit for shopping at iGive, you must bookmark and start your online shopping from your member page each time you shop. Purchases made at registered vendors earn up to 15 percent of every purchase for your cause as long as you "start" at the mall.

When shopping at greatergood.com, select Goodwill as your chosen not-for-profit, bookmark the page, and begin shopping to earn 5 percent or more of each purchase for the designated not-for-profit. Then e-mail your electronic sales receipt, along with Goodwill's name as your favorite charity, to rcpts@greatergood.com.
