SUMMARY
To provide administrative and organizational support to the Director of Retail Operations.
ESSENTAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 1. Maintain Kaizen process via hands-on approach in all store and production operations.
a. In conjunction with store managers, maintain Kaizen process in all retail operations.
b. Assist with monthly store audits.
c. Identify opportunities to enhance production operations and discuss with Director of Retail Operations for
implementation.
d. To serve as interim staffing when assigned. Assistant will report to store manager as well as complete assigned
tasks given by the Retail Director.
2. Assist in all areas of retail operations, i.e production, sales floor, and distribution.
a. Assist in achieving production goals.
b. Assist with development and staffing of retail locations when needed.
c. Assist with retail supplies orders, as well as all new goods and Commercial Salvage.
d. Assist in allocation and distribution of all goods.
e. Assist in coordination and communication in any retail operations area that is experiencing problems by
alerting Director of Retail Operations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma. Minimum of three years of related retail operations experience and/or training is required.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient knowledge of basic office software.
Ability to utilize MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Outlook.
Ability to utilize the Internet and Goodwill’s PO system.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Possess a valid Oregon driver license and insurable driving record.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as: safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to professionally write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees and to clearly express ideas and complex concepts.

Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors, in an office setting and retail setting. May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside.
The work environment for this position is not constant. Frequent travel between locations is expected.
